Vanwin Coatings celebrated its new Chesapeake blast booth, boosting capabilities for oversized parts and strengthening support for Hampton Roads.

Last month, Vanwin Coatings welcomed City of Chesapeake leaders—Mayor Rick West, Vice Mayor Debbie Ritter, and Council Members Jeff Bunn, Jeff Jefferies, and Daniel Whitaker—for a Ribbon Cutting ceremony celebrating the company’s newest industrial blast booth at its Chesapeake, Virginia facility.
Located in the heart of Chesapeake, the upgraded Vanwin Coatings facility increases capacity for oversized parts and components, strengthens support for existing customers, and expands the company’s ability to manage ship repair, manufacturing, and industrial coating projects across the Hampton Roads waterfront.
This investment reinforces Vanwin’s long-term commitment to growth, sustainability, and meeting rising customer demand. It also enhances the company’s role in supporting critical defense manufacturing and maintenance operations throughout the region.
Vanwin extends sincere appreciation to its teaming partners—including Kerstin Plarr, Palmer Lugo, and the Chesapeake Economic Development Team—for their continued support and attendance at this milestone event.
